Hey Everyone!

So I survived Outdoor Conference track meet without getting Pneumonia again!! My 4x100 relay team did it's best ever and without us beating Loras, we would have gotten 4th, but thanks to us, we got 3rd overall as the women's team!!! Not bad considering that we have such a young team! My teammates are so awesome! Unfortunately I didn't do so well at pole vault, I don't think that I even placed for points. That's all right since this year was a focus on sprinting for me. I hope next year to get even faster and vault 9 foot! I've managed to vault 9 feet in practice, which would get me 2nd place at Conference! If only I could repeat that in actual meets! The pressure is difficult to deal with, but now that I have more experience, I think I might be able to do it!

I'm having trouble between deciding to do fall track optional practice or ultimate frisbee this next semester. I like frisbee, but I love track. The thing is that I wasn't treated too well on the frisbee team last fall, but I get five months of 3 hours a day track practice starting in January, so I'm worried about burning myself out too early in the season if I do the fall practices. Also, I wanted to join my college's choir. That would take up a lot of time too. But since I have a chance to be in one of the best choir programs/ performances (meaning CAL) in the nation, I figure, why not?

If you're wondering how things are going with my friends, I think that it's looking up now that I've talked to my friend Aimee. I realize that I've had some pretty terrible things done to me by them, so it is best for me to just let go of them. It's just so tough because I still love them very much. It'll be allright! I've got some sweet roomies for next year and lots of guy friends (I think that I might give up on the "sweetheart girl" type friends for a while-- it just never works out).
